A Day In The Life Of A Sol4
I am Liam Forde. I am 15 years of age.
Solution 4 is a programme for people not in schools, we learn literacy, numeracy, I.C.T and BTEC. I will finish in September 2010 as I am 15 years old but the people that are in year 10 will finish in 2011.
This programme helps me with my anger management problems.
I wake up at about 07:00 GMT and then I go downstairs to eat my breakfast then I go back upstairs to get ready, then I come back downstairs and wait for my taxi. When my taxi arrives it takes me to Hill Holt Wood and I usually arrive at the times between 09:00 – 09:10 and then I get registered by a ranger. I go up to the canteen and see what rangers I have for the day, usually you have 3 lessons a day and between lessons 1 and 2 you have your break time and between lessons 2 and 3 you have your lunch and on a Thursday you have project day so you can do what you want all day dependent on what’s on the project list, such as cooking or woodworking.
Some days have been really fun as you can see there is a picture of me and my group doing man test day, it was really fun, we did loads of fun like army training stuff , an obstacle course and we also did archery. Sometimes I prefer to be outdoors dependent on the weather and what we are doing it can get really fun outdoors. I never thought I would end up inspecting a dead weasel we found in the wood.
