I hope to one day(when time and circumstance allows)to be able to volunteer some of the skills I have gained since leaving hill holt wood to you guys in an attempt to give something back even though it will never amount to what I gained whilst there.

Without coming through those green green gates down the former bumpy dirt track I don’t know how my life would have turned out but its become all the better for having been to hill holt wood.

Initially the woodland community Hall will be heated by a wood burner using thinnings, coppiced materials and soft wood logs. This will be stored in the form of hot water and released into the underfloor heating system. Eventually this system may be replaced by a CHP boiler system creating electricity and heat and running on pellets.
