Friends

Hill Holt Wood was established 1995 and is a constituted association designed to support the community woodland via conservation and management, providing an educational facility for local schools, encouraging the sustainable management of the countryside and maintaining and improving local access to the countryside.

For a small one-off contribution all Friends of Hill Holt Wood receive:

  • Invitations to all events held at the Wood
  • A quarterly news letter to keep you informed of currents events and developments
  • The first one hundred founder friends will have an Oak Tree planted in their name in an area set aside in the tranquil North-West corner of the Wood.

Your financial support will be used to:

  • print the newsletter
  • improve facilities for all visitors (including way marking footpaths, bridges, seats etc.)
  • help local wildlife through the installation of bird and bat boxes, habitat creation and pond maintenance.

By becoming a Friend of Hill Holt Wood you will be invited to attend social evenings, lectures and talks free of charge and will have the opportunity to plant a tree in your family name. The annual cost is £15 for a families £35 for businesses.
