At Hill Holt Wood, we have a group of young people aged 16-18 called Foundation Learners. These are learners who are not currently in other education, employment or training. We offer many different qualifications and work experience on the Foundation Learning Course, these include:
- KeySkills – Literacy, Numeracy and ICT
- BTEC in Home Cooking
- BTEC in Construction
- BTEC in Land Based Studies
- BTEC in Plumbing
- BTEC in Photography
- Workskills Unit
- A chance to go and gain real hands on work experience in the community, doing things such as mowing public footpaths, helping maintain vunerable people’s gardens and much more.
